TOTALITARIAN APPROACH IN SCTOLAND

josephchiffers

HERE is a news article stating that the Police will investigate comments made about a twitter post by or on behalf, of Nicola Sturgeon.

The ‘online abuse’ appears to have been merely drawing attention to profound demographic changes in Scotland, albeit in a manner that could be regarded as facetious.

There does not appear to have been, any abuse directed at individual pupils, any suggestion that one race is inherently superior to another and no incitement to violence or criminality. See HERE for an article that actually quotes the comments.

The implications of the police investigating such comments could be regarded as totalitarian. I predict that there will not be any charges brought, but the statements by the media may be intended to serve as a deterrent against making comments that draw attention to demographic changes.
